Oils, Ink & Moving Light

Camera with minimal props

I work across oil paint, graphite, illustration, photography, and cinematic editing, moving between mediums as the feeling demands. There is no single language for what I do; there is only the story, and the search for the right way to tell it.

My way of seeing has been shaped by my training in media, moving image, and the performing arts, which taught me how to look at people, build scenes, work with movement, and tell stories through images. A deep and almost obsessive love of music has given me an instinct for mood, pace, and emotion. Alongside this is a calling to art that has never left me — not as a hobby, but as something that has been there from the start.

AI has also become part of my creative process, helping me develop ideas and explore scenes, compositions, and concepts that begin in my imagination. I use live models and photography to bring some of those imagined scenes into the real world, using real people, movement, and expression as a starting point before developing the work through drawing, painting, and editing.

Together, these influences have shaped a cinematic and deeply personal way of working. I am interested not just in what things look like, but in what they feel like — the mood, the moment, and the story beneath the surface.

The medium is simply the tool. The story comes first.

NEVI — DRAWN IN THE CITY — CUT LIKE CINEMA

I go where the city gets interesting — turning oil, illustration, and fleeting frames into work with atmosphere, edge, and a pulse of its own.
